Continuous demand capacity planning

The May issue of the magazine "Logistik heute" contains an article that describes how Daimler AG Stuttgart optimizes demand capacity management. A system for part demand calculation developed by flexis is of significant importance for this process.

The method is based on order-neutral planning considering all information available in the company. Thus part- and component demands are represented, even where there are no orders. In addition, all code demands are calculated and reported depending on the input variables in terms of their quality.
