Vehicle routing solution from flexis available in WinSped version
Stuttgart, March 2021: LIS AG from Greven and flexis AG from Stuttgart are cooperating with a joint offer that will be made available in the new version of WinSped from March 2021: The transport optimization solution from flexis can be booked via an API interface as an option via the cloud.
The vehicle routing service enables more efficient planning in terms of optimal vehicle utilization, selection of truck types, and assignment of shipments to loading units. This leads to both economic improvements and ecologically efficient results. The flexis solution approach is based on more than 50 years of industry expertise from the logistics sector, the publishing world and the furniture industry. Using the additional service, the last mile delivery phase can be optimized by planning short, fast and efficient tours to the delivery areas.

Automated dispatching makes it easier for planners to manage their fleets, contractor vehicles and free market capacity. The software takes into account driving time and working time regulations, as well as vehicle restrictions and time windows for loading and unloading. A plus point: The software can access online updated road maps at any time and even take into account construction site situations and changed traffic routing.

The supply chain experts at flexis AG also offer holistic transport planning strategies that link strategic, operational, and dynamic transport planning, among other things, and thus achieve a high degree of optimization.
